Description: Naval Air Station Cubi Point was a major U.S. Navy air base located at Subic Bay in the Philippines and served as a key aviation facility in the Pacific during the Cold War. Built in the 1950s, it supported carrier air wings operating from the nearby Subic Bay Naval Base and played an important role during the Vietnam War. The base was closed in 1992.
